checkout villas in Spain

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

With the looming threat of the possibility of the volcanic ash lingering throughout the summer it still seems a brilliant idea to book a holiday using one of the many villas in Spain.

It now appears that the volcanic ash could be here for a while although unfortunately even the most brilliant of scientists are unable to predict the movements of the volcanic ash cloud or the possibility of further eruptions.

With this threat looming and the possibility of any flight disruptions that this may cause many holiday makers may be put off making a booking for that important summer break.

holiday home insurance for ski chalets

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

It’s coming round to that time of year again when my husband feels the need for a last minute family ski holiday. I must say this is something I dread with a passion every year. He even had the idea once of clubbing together with some mates and buying a ski chalet somewhere. I was worried about insurance but I think holiday home insurance is quite a booming business now so I couldn’t use that as an excuse for very long.

Trick or Treat

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Last week was the October half term and with two teenage daughters in tow, my husband and I decided we all needed a well deserved break and so we headed off to the resort of Salou situated on the Spanish Costa Dorada.

The weather was just right and the sun shone everyday which was just perfect for a late autumn getaway.  We decided to have a day off from sizzling in the sun and relaxing around the pool drinking cocktails and we headed off to Port Aventura, the Spanish equivalent of Florida, the only difference is you don’t need a second mortgage to get there!
