Well it was the annual Brit awards night on TV last night. I must admit I didn’t watch it all but what I did see I thoroughly enjoyed. The artist who seemed to have created the most headlines is Cheryl Cole but I didn’t actually see her perform. To me she always looks stunning but apparently she was miming instead of singing her songs
One act I did see though was Lady GaGa, she is to say the least a little crazy and outlandish but I have to admit I did enjoy her performance. She always wears such wacky outfits but somehow she manages to pull it off.

Us girls all dream of a beautiful, white lavish wedding, but with so many different wedding venues to choose from these days I think that choosing your venue has to be one of the hardest decisions to make when you are planning your big day.
You have chosen your dream dress, selected your bridesmaids and the colour they will be wearing, the flowers, the photographer, car hire, the invites. Everything is sorted, all you have to do is pick a venue. Do you marry home or away? On an exotic beach fronted location? In a church or registry office or even some lovely country manor house or a beautiful remote castle somewhere? The choices are endless and decisions have to be made.

Christmas to me, is a great time for when all of the family gets together and celebrates this joyous occasion with some presents, a traditional roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, the odd glass of wine or sherry and a few silly games. Normally sometime in December it is also a tradition that companies hold team building events and corporate events for their staff, partners and their clients to unite and join in the fun and frolics of this festive period. On a negative thought this horrible recession has seen many businesses cancelling their Christmas parties and do’s for their staff this year, but for us it is a perfect excuse to hold a corporate event for our workforce.

What do Donny Osmond, Tina Turner, Britney Spears and Walt Disney all have in common?
The answer is apart from that they are all very successful people in their own right, but they also share the same birth sign – Sagittarius, the archer.
In a recent article I read whilst sitting in the Doctors surgery one morning, it said that researchers analysed the zodiac signs of some very famous celebrities, past and present and found that their birth sign, Sagittarius, to be a common denominator of stars that made their big break through in their youth.

Where and what were you doing 25 years ago today? Did you own one of the famous white trendy t-shirts with the words written in big black bold letters saying: – FRANKIE SAYS RELAX?
I was an 80’s child and on this day 25 years ago the famous pop group from Liverpool, Frankie Goes to Hollywood released their debut single called Relax. This was a very controversial single and after a bit of airplay on various radio stations, the famous Radio 1 DJ Mike Reid was playing this record on his breakfast show when he noticed that the front cover of this single was rather obscene as were the lyrics. Mike Read became outraged by the nature of the record sleeve and the lyrics, which prompted him to remove this single from his turntable live on air. A few days later the BBC also banned this record from all of its TV and radio stations because of its offensive lyrics.

With the cold dark winter nights pulling in I decided to treat the family to a Nintendo Wii console and the Wii fit to accompany it. This I think has to be the greatest product design ever. Nintendo Wii is without doubt one of the best video games ever launched, they have certainly come up trumps with this little gem.

t appears to be fashionable and trendy these days for companies to organise corporate events and days out for their staff and clients. My husband’s company is no different and they organised a ‘family fun day’ for all their staff, families and customers.

My daughter and her mad friends the other day were lucky enough to get some tickets to watch the X Factor show live in the studio. They had a fab day out and they even managed to pick up an autograph or two. They found the show entertaining and exciting but they just cringed when the Irish twins, affectionately known as John and Edward or Jedward as they are also now known, performed their routine on the stage. Apparently they looked ridiculous in their matching sparkly suits and gelled up quiffs, singing out of tune and dancing with no rhythm.
